The Chromatic Light Experience was an interactive art exhibit that showcased the work of the Interior Ambiances (IA) Lab at Washington State University. Colored light stations gave students and staff the opportunity to experience the effects of being immersed in red, blue, and green light. Participants were prompted to spend a few minutes at each station, reflecting on their physical and psychological reactions as well as any cultural or environmental associations they had upon being immersed in a particular color of light. Other installations within the exhibit included the IA Lab's light fixture mock-ups, a slideshow of iconic lighting case-studies, and a colored light "selfie" station.
